Staqu, an audio-video analytics and management company based in Gurugram that was founded in 2015 by Atul Rai, Anurag Saini and Pankaj Sharma. Staqu is an AI start-up in which its AI technology works on to convert existing “dumb” cameras into “smart cameras” by automating the monitoring of people, process and property. Staqu’s AI-based audio-video analytics technology, JARVIS, works on security and enterprise big data analytics domains through its proprietary video analytics, big data and auditing tools. The vision of the company is to create an AI enabled society where businesses rely more on human intelligence to bring in innovation while ensuring automation across their business units.
In April 2022, Staqu raised INR 11 crore in pre-Series A funding round, led by Mount Judi Venture and SIS limited. As of Apr 22, Staqu was working with more than 100 enterprises and 9 state governments. Some of the private sector clientele includes Rebel Foods, JK Cement, Tata Projects, Tata Consumer, WeWork, Olive Co-living, Embassy, Borosil, Future Consumer, GMR, TFS, Agrocel, Crocs and many more. Staqu will be utilising the funds from Pre-series A round to fulfil the current demand for its innovative AI-based audio-video analytics technology JARVIS in the international and domestic markets. The newly raised capital will also be used to bolster the brand’s presence globally, build powerful AI propositions to solve the safety, security, and analytics problems.
